This is for a street driven on weekends and 1/8 mile race car. The car is dead off the line and i thought maybe the dual plane M1 would help. I have a single plane old torker 340 intake now and its great once i get in the right power range but i am losing it all in the beginning. I have a hughes 3844 Cam with 535/540 lift and 237/244 @ 50. I am running 4.56 gears and a Holley 750 Race carb. I still want it street driveable but would like to run low 8's.. am running 8.40's now. Thanks for any input.

See if you can score a LD340. They work great on 340-360. They are a little scarce, but worth it.

Ouch...just how dead is it?
I bought the same cam for my street ride and was hoping it wouldn't be all that bad at the bottom end. What converter do you have in there? What engine and car combo? What RPM does the cam really come on strong? |
