I just acquired a rough but solid 73 duster. the only problem is that its missing the fenders, hood and pretty much the whole front end. My question is would i be able to replace the 73 front end with one from a 72 duster. The reason Im asking is because I have an extra hood, grill, bumper, and left fender from a 72. Would this be a smart thing to do. I know it hurts the resale value but I dont care about that. I dont really like the way the 73s look anyways. Not to mention spending a buncha money on 73 parts when i got most of the 72. Any help would be appreciated.

I beleive all pieces will fit. I remember swaping over some fron fenders from a '72 to a '70 and they fit fine. I think the '72 and '73 doors to grille will interchange.

On all Duster the parts will interchange as a set. The fenders are the same all years as are from the doors back except the rear lights.
f you replace the 73 missing front end with fenders, hood, grill, header panel and such from a 72 everything will fit fine.
