Thumbs up intrepid models

There are diecast models showing up now but for plastic, Revell has announced a pre-decorated glue kit of the Cheerios Intrepid which is due out about July the last I had heard. No other announced releases yet, but Revell almost never does one kit only of NASCAR subjects.

Dowling has it correct, but the Nascar Intrepid will probably be the only one offered. The model car companies usually only do the hottest Mopars, and also, there have been rumors of Racing Champions selling off the plastic kit portion of AMT/Ertl that they bought recently. The upcoming 58 Plymouth has also been delayed. so with the upheaval at AMT, looks like the Revell Intrepid, as well as the upcoming Dodge supertruck, will be the only new mopar kits coming out this year. I'd be surprised if a factory stock Intrepid kit came out, sure would like to have one, just won't hold my breath waiting, lol.

Question

Stoga....NO Sh....ahhh, NO FOOLIN'?! Race Champs selling off Ertl? Now that really doesn't sound very good. The plastics biz is currently in a slight slump, and they haven't owned Ertl for what.....a year or two? That could shake up the industry a bit.
As you write, though, it does look like a wait and see thing. Like you, I'm not gonna hold my breath at this time.
