Question

I recently noticed that when I fill up the radiator with fluid, and drive it for a couple minutes, it starts leaking the fluid(slightly) has brand new hoses. had the water pump off a month ago to replace timing chain. And my temp. gauge buries at 250 after about two minutes. Could this be the thermostat? Any help will be appreciated.

Sounds like a good place to start. There cheap! Fix your leak. Where is it comeing from.
If you did the chain, are you sure you didn't knock the cam around? This can have an effect.
