Thumbs up

It's Friday.

The pont of having to paint the car has come up over and over, and I was wondering how many people would actually paint there MOPAR Panther Pink.

I think it would look kinda cool.

75' Dodge Dart Sport Panther Pink???

Can you see it.

Panther Pink Dart with a flat black hood, a twist on the dart sport stripe in flat black, top of doors, and front fender's flat black.

My car is originally frost green, with the above mentioned stripe. It looks good, but I think panther pink would be cooler.

I just don't know if I would be man enough to drive it.

That's the real question: Are you man enough to drive a PINK car?

My very first car (in 1971) was a Salmon Pink '59 Plymouth Custom Suburban wagon. I got teased more for it being a wagon than I did for the color.

I would... Already have a Sublime Challenger and an Orange Cuda.... '72 Cuda is going to be Pink in the next year.... with blacked out tail section and black hockey stick stripes! This is a Drag car too! I'm sure all the other cars will be intimidated by Pink.... What do ya think.... Nothing worse than losing to a Pink Car...

Well, if I were into the reds, (colors), I wouldn't be bothered by Panther Pink on my Dart. I, personally, like the greens, with particular empasis on bright, blaze, neon green. You know, the one that almost makes you want to get out the sunglasses before you turn on the garage lights.
I can just see it now, my green '68 Dart matched up against your Panther Pink '75 Dart. Oh to own the sunglasses concession on that day.

If the car I had was originally "panter pink" and I was doing a restoration on it, then I would definitely paint it "panther pink" again. I think it's cool color if it's on the right car. Some cars just don't look good in certain colors. I think your Dart would look alright. But a 67 through 69 Dart wouldn't look right in that color though. That's my opinion though, I'm sure some people would disagree with me.

My wife asked me if I would paint my (G-2) Green Cuda panther pink next Year, So I told Her I would get her A Cuda or Challenger of her own that is Panther Pink. So I guess I will be looking for another E-Body next year.

Personally I like cars the color they came off the line with. It makes things a lot more simple that way. No need to decide.

I would'nt have been caught dead in a panther pink car in 1970, but I sure think they look cool now, wish I had bought a pink challenger then instead of the b5 blue I had. Come to think of it I wish I still had the b5 too.

I know this is kinda childish but i still make model cars(mopars only) and right now im building a t/a challenger and was thinking about panther pink or sublime green. I've seen panther pink T/A's in person before and i think that is the best color for a T/A, but sublime is so unique.
Thanks guys and try not to laugh too hard at me.

Cool

Yo!...70 Challenger.....you wn't hear a snicker out of me. I build, too. Most of mine are WW1 aircraft, but I also have almost all the cars I've ever owned, and a few that I would have loved to own.
Keep the faith....the mfgrs are really starting to put out some quality stuff, when it actually hits the stores.

Default In the process....

I am currently restoring a 73 'CUDA and it is going to be pink with a black butt, black hood, hockey stick stripe, black top, the car was originally forest green metalflake. There was no doubt in my mind what color it was going to be from the first time I saw it and forked over the coin...

Pink? I've got a black 72 Swinger that's nearly ready for paint. I guess it could tick off some of those Chevy guys to lose to a pink dart. Or, how do you think a big guy in a Red Mach 1 would feel about being runner up to a Pink Swinger? It's a worked 318, but I wish I had some Slant 6 logos. WHAT A TRIP! I LOVE IT!

My favorite colour actually...Damn near bought a Duster in that colour just before I got the "sport" Didn't have the cash in my pocket and by the time I got back from the bank, someone else had snagged it already. The Dart sport is in need of paint & bodywork, & I have not decided if it would suit the longer, relaxed look the car has. The Duster with its snub nose and "nervous" stance sure looked good in panther pink with them black stripes & hood tho...

I have to side with PRO on this one, I grew up with 8 sisters and now have 5 grandaughters. So there is plenty of pink and purple in my life and I don't need my cars painted pink!!

I know it's not everyone's favorite color, but you have to admit, mother MOPAR, knew how to get under the skin of the GM/FORD Camp, with those HIGH IMPACT HOT COLORS ........

I have only received good comments from everybody that sees my car, infact, my car was featured in MOPAR ACTION MAGAZINE FEB, 2010, According to the article, the Editor mention in the article " MAGAZINE FRIENDLY PANTHER PINK"

No, not unless that was the factory color it was originally painted. Especially NO if the color was never available from the factory on that year/model.
