WATER PUMP HOUSING - Moparchat

i have a stock water pump housing and there are two holes to the left of the water neck, they are for the blower right, but below them is another hole what is this for

The 2 big holes (½" NPT) are for the heater hoses, the small one on front (1/8" NPT) is for the temp sender.
