hello there
i am having problems with my motor missing at higher rpms. as soon as the motor hits about 4200 rpm, the motor starts missing like crazy. it only does it under load. it will free rev fine. i have tried new plugs and wires. that didn't do it. i talked to crane aobut their ignition box, they said to disconnect the battery and set the rev limiter to 00. i did that but still nothing. the motor still breaks up. the timing is set for 38 deg. adv. i have messed with the timing in other positions and it still does the same thing. the motor is a 440 in a dart. it has a new mopar performance distributor. has a crane hi-6 ignition box. the magnetic trigger is set properly as well. i have no idea what is going wrong here. especially since it only misses under a high rpm load. thanks in adavnce bill |

Hi dart440! Have you check your valve springs? Your problem sounds familiar for me...
What is your camshaft / valve spring combination? Rgds CudaBoy |
