Thumbs up

Kevin Harvic drove Dale Earnhardt's car into Victory Lane today. Way to go Kevin, good job!!! Steve Park and Michael Waltrip have won the first two Cup races, now all we need is a win from Dale Jr. next week!

Post Incredible finish

Unbelievable!!!! That's all I can say!! Anyone who calls this sport a MACHO MAN's game really has no compassion.

Dodge boys almost had it too. Can you believe Blaneys luck? He was fast and had a good chance to win. I'm glad though of the way it turned out. It brought a tear to my eye. Way to go Kevin!

The irony of Kevin winning on his third trip to the track in the old #3 was just too much. I had a friend over watching the end of the race. He couldn't believe the way it turned out. He was really stunned when I suggested to the TV that he take a Polish victory lap in honor of those who had gone before, and then he did it. I was rather choked up when the thing all went down. I think my friend saw a completely different side of me today.

Thumbs up John Force burnout!

That was soooo cool! You could hear the echo of the engine from the TV. Very nice!

Just to clarify, Harvick doesn't drive for Earnhardt Inc. He drives for Richard Childress.
That was a great smokey he did after the race, ROASTED 'em !!!!
Can't wait to see someone in an Intrepid do that!

I think the win was what RCR needed, too. But it sure is spooky! Good one Kevin!

I subscribe to National Dragster. In this week's ND Kenny Bernstein talked about Dale Earnhardt and what good friends they were. One weekend Bernstein mentioned that Dale tried to understand the power of a Top Fuel dragster. Theres even a picture of Dale sitting behind the wheel of the Bud King, looking a little "intimidated"! Kenny said Dale joked about borrowing a nitro motor to make his qualifying laps after he sat in the dragster warming the motor.
