Question

Hey guys,
Figure you experienced Chrysler techs should know this one. When a car comes in with an aftermarket chip what do you see when you plug into the computer? I assume you see some of the standards are changed but anything specific? Also, does adding on for example an MSD ignition void any factory warranties on a new car, or drivetrain components purchased that have a warranty through chrysler? Thanks guys in advance.

Angry dealer bullshit

Whenever a dealer tells you an aftermarket part violates the warranty, tell him to put it in writing and sign it. You won't see it happen! It's just their way of trying to weasel out of warranty work or an excuse as to why their incompetent tech can't solve the problem you brought them. I've seen it before, but when push comes to shove they ALWAYS back down and honor the warranty. This crap never flies in a court of law, at least not in Canada........djs
