ok im rebuilding my motor. i want horse power. ive noticed that the pistons are dished on a 2.2 turbo. will flat top pistons work without hitting the valves? id also like to know if their is a good cam out their for the 2.2 turbo 1 motor? thanks

Not being up on turbo eng.'s , try comp cams and Mopar for stuff. I don't know about the pistons. You would have to messure the old vs. new in clearance and height to know.

2.2 pistons
KB Pistons has 2 hypereutectic versions. KB 268 is a dished stock turbo replacement and KB 239 which is a flat-top with valve notches. But the KB 239 is not recommended for a turbo application. You don't want much more compression over stock with a turbo.
