Question

I am swaping a slant six for a 318, in my 1970 Plymouth Duster. I'm keeping the 904, but do I have to change my starter? Do I have to change any wiring harness's?
Let me know.

Thanks,

Jake

Cool

Only differance in wiring is the length of the wires going to the distribetor.
the starter will interchange.
your slant six tranny wil not fit the 318

I have good news and bad news and other news for you;
BAD NEWS
The 904 for the slant6 will not fit the 318.
GOOD NEWS
you can use the same starter though.
OTHER NEWS
You do not have to change the wiring but, you may have to make it longer to reach around to hook up things that are not exactly where they were before. Just use the same size wire to extend them.
