Has anyone done a RWD conversion to a late-model Daytona? I know it's possible and Chrysler sells some of the parts to do it, but I'm looking for someone who's actually done it and with what kind of success.

As far as I know Chrysler has discontinued all parts for this conversion..... You'll have to do it all yourself or have it done.
I think one guy is usig a K member from a A or E body car - not sure which one. But he's gonna have to make everyhting else. |

I will be doing one for a guy soon, but he collected up all the pieces. Yes, Chrysler did discontinue the kits, but, other than the K member, all of the other parts where off of other cars.
I will try to find out what all the parts are and see if he has all the info. I know that he has the name of the company that was building the K members. |

I was going to do this project using the Mopar kit as well a few years ago. What I remember is that the rack&pinion steering was from a Dakota, and I belive the brakes were as well.Hedman made the headers.I saw the test mule that Chrysler put together and you had to pull the engine to remove the oil pan.The back of the car was done with a 4-link and 2x3 frame rails, typical of how the Super Stock cars are made today.
