Unhappy

I really hate to ask for help on this subject on this sight but, I have a problem that is baffling the hell out of me. Wife drives an 89 Buick with 3800 v6. Car run good one minute then runs like crap the next.
I've done a tune-up recently changing plugs, wires, filters and pvc. It drove great for a few days then started acting up. A buddy and myself determined that one of the coils was shot in the coil pack. I changed it and everything was great for awhile. Now it's acting up again. It doesn't seem to matter how fast I'm driving or engine rpm
(it does seem to act up more under load at times). It acts like half the plug wires are off yet it will accelarate. Mashing it to the floor seems to make things kick in OK then it goes back to running like crap as soon as I level off. Sometimes feathering the pedal helps. I can't believe its the coil module because it doesn't do it all the time. Ambient temperature seems to make a differenc as to the frequency. Cooler is better. Also I can't pull any codes up either. I've had it on a diagnostic computer and since it was running fine when it was hooked up everyhing checked out OK. This is driving me nuts can anyone help or direct me to a GM sight. UGH!

I belive it is the coil module under the coil pack.I had a neighbor that had exactly the same problem with a V-6 Grand Prix and changing the module solved the problem.Of course a new PT Cruiser would solve the GM problem as well.(sorry I couldn't help but say that!!)
