Anyone ever heard of Dacco torque converters. They are out of Tennessee.
Anyone ever heard of Performance Torque Converters. They are out of Alabama. Any info on quality, likes and dislikes is greatly appreciated. I know about Coan and Dynamic, good products but i'm a cheap bastard on a budget. |

Dacco rebuilds all types of converters, but I am unsure about "race" or "high performance" applications.
PTC is run by Kenny Ford. He has torque converter experience and I have seen several posts saying that he makes a good product. PTC web page is ptcrace.com Billy |

I have a Dacco 2500 RPM Converter for a 727.
It is very consistent and I got a better 60 ft with it over my TCI 3000 converter. It was a 5 hundredths quicker in the 60 ft. I took it out after 25 passes and put in the 3000 converter. I should have left it in. Now it's just a spare unless someone wants to buy it. Jason indychamp@hotmail.com |
