I was talking to someone today at my work, and he said he had a former cop car that had a 318 and a 727 trans. He said he blew up the 727 one day when he stomped on it, so he put a 929 in there. Was there ever a trans called the 929? I don't remember seeing anything about it anywhere, and I was just wondering if this guy was b.s. or not.

I think what he wanted to say was "999" which is the heavy duty version of the 904.
