Question

Is anyone using an MP "K" number converter? Are they any good? If they're junk, I'd like to find out before I order one. Koller Dodge has a pretty good price on them right now.

And, while looking through my new A&A transmissions catalog, I see all kinds of discs and bands available. Red Racing discs, Hi-Perf. discs, Raybestos Blue Plate Specials, etc. I called A&A and the guy said the Blue Plates are made of harder material, they're good on a street car but not in really HP applications... What? For $18.95 a disc, that thing had better work good! Got a lot of thinking to do. Any ideas?

I am using the 175 k in my 63 max wedge clone street car and think it is fine . stalls about 3000 and pulls hard. I have wonder since being on this sight why no one else seem to use them they all want a B&M or TCI or Coan etc. at over twice the price. When I was shopping I looked at a lot of converter and when I found I could by the Mopar for well under $200.00 the choice was made.

I am using the similiar converter as cuda367 ona big block challenger and it pulls strong, stalls at about 3k. Ialso use a MP converter on my 340 swinger. 2500 stall and it pulls great. For the money i think great and underused.
THats my 2cents...
