Question

O.K. guys, its question time again. I am purchasing the Mopar Performance 9:1 cast pistons for my 340 rebuild. They will be .030 over bore. Will the matching Mopar Performance rings be a good thing. I am thinking of the Total Seal gapless rings also. I don't know if the Mopar rings are moly's or not. What is your suggestions. Dick Landy is always suggesting to instal the Cast Mopar pistons in most of his Performance Clinic questions so I asume that they will be good, but he never mentions rings. Thanks again.

The rings are fine to use. had freinds use them with no problems. I don't know what there made of tho. Ask Mopar. Call them.
The gapless units will provide constent higher pressure do to there leak down rate. Is there expense worth it? Not to me.
