Question

In the latest issue of MoPar Muscle they mention they installed a GUNSLINGER automatic shifter in their 70 'Vanishing Point' Challenger. This was a Pistol Grip shifter on a regular ratchet type automatic shifter.
That is too cool!
Why have I never heard of this before?

Default Just a handle???

Hmm, I can get the pistol grip shifter handle from Year One. Then I will just have to figure out how to adapt it to a ratchet auto shifter. Hmm, sounds fun!

Thumbs down

way over priced and looked cheap to me. HURST makes a pistol grip Q-STICK that is much better.

I posted before to see if anyone had tried it. Like they said, it seemed a little pricey for the handle only, but it is the only one available unless you can fabricate your own from a 4spd stick. The new Hurst Pistol Grip shifter set up looks a little too modern and racey for what I was going for. I've seen them on ebay for about $250 but don't know what they retail for. Her's the web site:
