This was posted by one person there:
I wouldn't be too worried about Chrysler "losing" all that money either. By "losing" money, you keep from paying taxes on it. Some people might call it "creative accounting". Anybody that's in business will know how that works. Doesn't it strike anybody as being odd that Daimler and Chrysler merged (OK Chrysler was swallowed whole) and now it supposedly is losing all of this money? Hey, it's now a new company..............they can show a loss for 3 years running.........on paper that is. Does anybody actually believe that Daimler Chrysler is at risk of going out of business? Has anybody checked their sales volume? They are selling more and making less? The money is being soaked up somewhere.........just so it doesn't show up as a profit. That's how the tax/business game works. At least they're not ALL complete idiots... |

Hey Truckster- Don't sweat it. It is by title a Ford and Chevy site. Do you expect them to praise the mighty MOPARs???
This is a MOPAR site, do you think many of us would praise Ford or Chevy?? I am very brand loyal. I have also owned a piece of crap Cougar and a piece of crap Firebird SE. Those two cars proved to me that MOPAR is better. Unless Daimler really screws up the company, I will only own MOPARs. |

Tell me 'till their blue in the face!!
Those guys can tell me stories until they turn blue. It isn't going to change my mind and I have no idea why they say that there are no owners that have been happy with their rams. I have been. I've owned 4 dodge trucks (2 I still have) and never ever had to replace anything but the normal worn items that all cars/trucks go through.
