Biggrin

I'm getting in the odd habit of looking around for cops at every stoplight since you never know what will happen.
Two days ago I pulled along side a white chebby Z24 at a SL. I was adjusting my radio when the light went green and the Z24 takes off with some tire squawk. He had me by a length before I could get the R's up. I gained slowly until 4th gear when I finally overtook him.
At the next light I got the usual question. " What you got in that thing ?" My normal reply is " Just a little two liter."

But by far I get more actual challenges from my Mopar brothers in Dakotas. What up with that ??? I realize they're fast with V-8s, but none have beat me(yet) and only one could keep up with me. But I always enjoy the next stop light. I always feel the need to ask if they get over 30 MPG too. Sorry, Thats just the smart @$$ coming out from my younger days.

Cool

disavowed, you must have alot of SOHC auto-trans Neons in your neck of the woods.
I LOVE V-8's too, but I put on over 100 miles a day and your 15 mpg would keep me from buying my new house with the 3 car heated garage. Gotta have room for my HOG and my next V-8 Mopar. I'm leaning toward a Road Runner with a crate 426 Hemi.

Biggrin lol

man that is true i do get bad gas milage adn on top of that i run a mopar performance pcm, so that means at least 93 octane plus a can of booster on racing nights. it does cost a lot of money but im dedicated to performance so im willing to fork out the do.
and yeah we do got a lot of neons, civics, saturns etc...
they're definatley becoming a very recognizable performance competitor.
hey man as long as it's mopar
or for that matter american you really cant go wrong
just keep the toyotas away from me id rather walk to greenland before i ride in one of those things1

Wink na

weve got some pretty serious sub compact players in town. many of them are pretty quick!
but at that stop light they just cant keep up with that mopar of mine. its definatley not stock. and no im not gonna tell you ALL of my mods that would take all the fun away.

Cool

I like the way you think. I almost bought a white ss/t , but then I got this job 47 miles away. And I can't move closer because my wife is a county employee. Oh well !
Take care and drive safe. (and fast of course)

P.S.
I need 92+ oct. and our gas prices just went over a $ 1.80 today. Almost as bad as last year when it went over $2.
