Dakota R/T wheels and tires - Moparchat

Ok, I havnt got enough money right now to buy new wheels, but I have enough for new tires.
I have 17x9(I believe) wheels with the stock 255/55 - 17's on them. I would like to go with the widest tire for the rear, but I dont know what that would be for a 9" wheel. Any help would be appreciated.

Plus, are Falken or Toyo any good, cause I can get them at dealer cost.

Check with Luke at TIRERACK.com. I just bought four 285/60 /17 for my Ram. Great price and great service. I think they will fit your truck. I got the Perilli Scorpion Zero's! They are really nice...

hey i've got a ram and a friend has an r/t he just got the nitto 275/50/17 on his they look really good i think not TOO wide but not too narrow either just a thought

What's wrong with the stock Dakota r/t wheels? Those are sweet,why change them?
