Question

I just went through the gas reciepts and figured up the mileage for the last 2000 miles. 21.9 average and a best of 24. Mostly around town with the wife driving. Anybody else doing better?

Ours is pretty similar. Its the PT's weakest point, I'd say. On a trip east, I tracked the mileage at 23 or 24 doing about 80. Around town, its 19 to 21 with the wife driving. The problem if you ask me is the RPM's it runs to get from point A to B. At 60, it revs at 2800, which I think is about 500 too high. The difference explains most of the low gas milage complaints, at least for 5 spd PT's.
