Origionally My 72 Satellite Sebring was running poor with not much Get up and Go
It's a 318 auto dual exhaust with flow masters

The first thing I did was a Mopar Performance Ignition Upgrade with an Orange ECU
Ran much better with eaiser starting, but still no Get up and Go

A week ago I put on a stock cast 70 340 intake with a Carter 625. Kick down did not have to be replaced.
This made a noticable difference in performance, and MUCH better in driving
and throttle responce.

I still wanted more 0 to 60 mph blast
Then I swapped the 8 1/4 2.71 rear with an 8 3/4 with a 3.23
WOW what a difference . I used an 3.23 because I also like to fly down the highway at 75 mph.
You can do that in Alberta with out getting taged.

This is now a GREAT running MOPAR. A 318 with some power
My gas milage is kind of crappy now because of my heavyer right foot.
I am sure It will be better the the origional.

If any one thinks of hopping a stock 318. I highly recommend these Upgrades
Not too expensive

Fred.

Rumblefish

You are right I think I got bit by a bug, a very big bug with big teeth
The Mopar Bug
For now I will just drive the car around playing with the setup, trying
for better street performance.

Next I think a cam and headers. Not too much of a cam I want it to be
very streetable

Fred..

Default Shave them heads

If you are thinking of a cam don't forget to shave the heads to increase your compression ratio. Anything more than a slightly over stock cam will kill your engine without more compression.

If any one knows where i could get a CAST stock LA engine (318, 340, 360) 4 bbl intake that would be awsome.. they are about impossible to find around here and i dont really want an aluminum intake because i'm just going to paint it to look stock any how even if its a M1!
