Has anyone ever tried to run circle track tires on the strip? They have been thoroughly coated with VHT Trackbite. They are 26x12-15, just the right size for me.
And they-re free!! ------------------ Pwrdyn360 99 Dakota R/T Powerdyne SC |

I have not used them personally but have heard several comments from those that have and still do. They all say that a good soft McCreary oval track or dirt track tire are far better than street tires. These are all on mild performance street/strip cars. The one drawback (if it really is a drawback) is they have rigid sidewalls. I have seen a couple of these guys before and after and it was a vast improvement on their 9 second (1/8th mile) street cars. One of them dropped from a 2.23 second 60 ft. to a 2.03 with just the tire change.
