Question

I am ready to put my MP valve covers on my 383 now, but the studs are not long enough. How do I remove the studs in order to replace them with something else? Do I just put some vice grips on them and unscrew them...is it as easy as that?

Best way is take two nuts and screw them down on the stud until top nut is flush with top of stud, use two wrenches and tighten nuts against each other then turn both counterclockwise and stud should come right out.
