Question

I have a chance to get a complete 6 pac with air cleaner/filter etc for my 67 Satellite.Currently run a 440 with 6300 rpm cam,team G 7534 w/830 annualar,4:30 w/28 slick,3500 stahl,under drive crank pulley,ign, good curve,small alt,electric pump,ss springs,hard bushings,drag shocks,pinion snubber,roll control,good air to carb with k&N filter with air flow top,you get the pic.
In the DC book all faster combos suggest a 6 pac rather than a single Holley .Currently the car has not been run in the 1/4 here at 2400 above sea level, but we feel it should run 12.5-12.75 but possible it will be faster depending on 60,s.Should we consider the change in search of the faster ET and MPH?

keep the 830 and if hood clearance permits use the M1 single plane, if you think it wont fit, then find a used Holley Street Dominator.
i've recently had 2 motors with 6 paks on the dyno, and i felt both would have made more power with a different induction system.

Cool

Did the M1,car didnt like it,apparently M1 likes more head porting and higher rpm band than we run.

Default 6 pack vs. Team G vs.M1

Its my understanding that a cleaned up Team G is a heck of an intake. Seeing as you already have
it, take the ports out to a size just under/ or equal to the intake port size of your heads. Clean up
and radius the top of the carb mounting pad, and blend it into the runners. I think you'll be sur-
prised in the difference. OBTW What are your cam specs? I know two guys who are running the the
Team-G w/ 12:1, max ported 452 heads, and the Comp Cams flat tappet .690" lift 287 deg cam
going 10:20's in a 3400 lb B body. That's what my next motor is going to be. (If I live that long).
Have fun, go fast, and die old with a grin on your face.
Dave
