National Dragster
Find a copy of National Dragster. There is always an 1/8th to 1/4 index list in it. The list is reasonably accurate.

To calculate your 1/8 mile times into 1/4 mile times multiply your 1/8 mile time by 1.58
7.00x1.58= 11.06 quarter time 6.50x1.58= 10.27 " " I hope this helps. Jake |

Tried it!
Jake, I tried your formula against some of my timecards from last weekend. It was about a tenth slow. Not too bad!

1/8-1/4 times
Both of my cars work out to a 1.56 conversion factor. Just take your 1/4 time and divide by your 1/8 time to get the factor for your car

1/4 to 1/8 Conversion
I once went through the equations relating to accelarating a mass over a distance. I came up with the 1/8 mile ET was 64% (.64) of the 1/4 ET. I've also compared it to several classes of cars, including T/F and find it runs between .64 to .66. This would be equivalent to 1.56 to 1.51 inverted.
