We have a chance to put together one of the most awesome teams in racing. How many of you remember back when Dan Gurney & Swede Savage drove a pair of AAR 'Cudas in the 1970 Trans-Am season? How about the history behind such legends as Mickey Thompson & Keith Black? This team will bring together a second generation of each of these families. This team would consist of having Jimmy Gurney and Gary Savage drive the new 2001 Stratus in the Trans-Am series, with a chassis designed & built at Thompson Motorsports (owned by Mickey's daughter, Lindy), and engines developed at Keith Black Engines (owned by Keith's son, Kenny). To mirror the '70 season, which brought about the AAR Cuda, they are working on building a full performance version of the new Stratus, as an SSR Stratus. They need the support of all the mopar fans out there to make this happen. Check out the links below, and please send in your thoughts and support for the team. http://www.car-truck.com/chryed/buzz/b080700.htm http://www.car-truck.com/chryed/buzz/b080800.htm
