I was wondering if anyone can assist me with the right path to take as far as buying a 70 cuda, and what questions to ask, I am told this is a number matching car, it is a 340, 3 speed automatic on the column. How do I find out what the car is worth, and if it is a good deal and a true matching number car? Thanks for any info. Please e-mail me at HTWHLCOLL@AOL.com.

places to look
behind the front wheels, look at the frame rail that sits behind. If its rotted out..DONT GET IT. Watch how the doors close..if the body is tweeked, it will show there. Look at the hood alignment. If it doesnt then the car has been hit. If the hood alignment is bad, look VERY closly at the front frame members. any other info, go to a few book stores and or libraries and get a book on cudas/challengers that talks about restoration. It will have all the options etc that you will need to know. There is TOO much to list here..so get the book Maxwedge |
