I've always been first to admit - I don't know it all.
Got an email asking about a blower for a 74 / 75 Dodge with a 360. I could use some help with this one. Who makes them and where can you get them now ??? ------------------ "Good Luck on your project." Mid Michigan MOPAR Enthusiasts |

Hey Ram Man, there was a write-up in Mopar Muscle a few months ago about a bolt-on supercharger kit for the 360's. I think they said that Powerdyne was supplying them...

I just looked at the powerdyne site, and I gotta tell ya, I want a blower too. Their systems are only for serpentine modern magmun engines, not even for my MP crate magnum. The problem is in the pulleys.

Not first hand, but , on Mustang sites, Powerdyne has a reputation 1 notch above "overhaul-in-a-drum"

The only supercharger from that era would have to be the Paxton unit. In '72, Mr. Norm used these on the Demon 340 GSS to turn them into little terrors. The only problem they encountered was that the pressure crushed the standard brass floats. It turned the Demon into 13.7 performer according to road tests, even on E60 bias-plys.

the 72 paxton kits are still around, 7psi with stock pulley, there were first test at mid 12s in the day,but what you might pay for one of these kits you could get a moderen SN type paxton or another brand.

I delt with PAxton and they suck, there own tech guys had no idea of what I was taking about. I a patient guy mind you. After some time on the phone, they came up with "We don't make'em any more. Thanks and good by."

True about that for a while they stopped making the SN line up but now have brought it back, still about the same designed as the Sn60 used on the gss demon, but i am sure there are better superchargers out there..

Not sure Rumble, i dont deal with them anymore, i deal with a guy who bought all the rights to the SN60 paxton units in Ca. But the new sn line up sure seems popular.

Dick Landy in S. Calif makes a manifold for the older 340-360's that uses the B & M 174 Roots Supercharger. They did one for me in a CUDA I had back in 1985.

There is under hood blower now for mopars. Its made by procharger. I think they have a web page to. I saw it in Mopar mag a few months ago. They sent me a catalog on them and they just started with mopar line up.
