good thing is that truck ran its best ever et. Last year best5.985 twice but ran consistant 6.03-6.07 dep. on weather and track conditions. I didn't do anything to motor besides new bearings. The conv. was big change. It is 9 in Tci 4500 stall was 5500. know I am running 5.91-5.95. When I bought conv they recommended 5500 but I guess i talked to someone diff this winter and he told me it is was way to big and he wanted to tighten it up and it would go faster. he was right.

Your running upon some tough packages there, but if you stay consistent some will break your way. What kind of truck you running anyway, thats quick, for a truck anyway.

Sounds like the luck my nephew had this past weekend! Second round he cuts a .516 lite and runs a 10.60 on a .58 and opp goes a .510 lite and goes 10.20 on a .19 ! If that isnt lousy luck ! Most of the time that would get you in the next round!

Wym 64 Savoy the truck is a 91 full size front end and doors. The bed is made sort of like an old willys truck. The rear fenders r off a 80 step side truck. IT has box tube frame 4 link and the front end is a staight axel from 64 dodge truck. Dana 60 rear. It may not be as fancy as a lot of cars but works well drives great and was cheap to build. If you go to www. kanrace.com there was a picture of it. Cant see real well it is a night shot and pretty far away. Also if u ever heard of a magazine called midwest dragracing news it was on the cover of it long time ago about 91 or 92.
