I picked up a MSD6AL for my GTX Saturday. The installation looks easy enough but I'm not sure where to mount it. I was going to mount it to the underside of the battery tray but MSD says not to mount it upside down because moisture won't drain. So, I'm looking for suggestions from other B-Body owners. Any ideas?

Can you mount it on the fender/support under your battery? Someone here did that, looks real stealthy.

pistha, thanks for the suggestion. I pulled out the battery tray to size things up but no go...There's not enough room due to the brackets that support the battery tray. Too bad, I liked the stealth idea. I ended up giving it a coat of flat black and mounted it behind the grille on the radaitor core support (only had to drill 2 holes). All I have left is the power connections (need some 10ga wire) and it should be ready to fire up.
