Anyone know where I can get a fender tag made? I'm not trying to pass the car off as something it's not. It's a 64 Polara that Galen Govier says is a 383 2 barrel equiped with the usual stuff. I'm not trying to get it certified, just get a fender tag reproduced to go where I don't have one. You see I already have a 69 440 4 barrel in it. I also have a new 6 pack setup I got from Mancini. Can anyone help. P.S. While I'm on the subject, I remember when the 6 packs came out in 69 1/2 (I was driving then), right off the show room floor the 6 pack would hesitate a split second before launching when floored. Do we know something in the 90's that we did'nt know in the 60's that can eliminate this?
Thanks, moparsofcamelot.

I don't know of anybody reproducing fender tags.In fact I think it's illegal to do so.As far as the 440+6 hesitation, these carbs were set up lean from the factory and a increase in jet size and a power valve change,(depending on cam selection)with sometimes a vacuum diaphragm spring was all they needed. It really is a good setup once it's tuned properly. The 440+6 really responds with fresh air to the Holleys,so that's important too.

For some of the best advice and parts for a six pack set up contact a place called SIX PACK's To Go INC. Their address is 1807 Overlake DR. Suite A, Conyers GA. 30013. I do not have their phone # handy at this moment but i do know that their progressive linkage kit with some minor carb tuning will create a very wicked pulling set up.

To the best of my knowledge Galen Govier has the ability to reproduce tags and also has tags that could be for your car. Did you ask him about the tags?
