ok guys I have a 70 Challenger with a 495 cid engine and a good set of ported and flowed cast iron 452 2.14 intake valves and 1.88 exhaust valves the heads flow intake 290@700 exhaust 212@700 the car ran the best of 10.36 with a 60ft of 1.38 car and driver weight is 3250 I just bought a set of Indy SR heads with the stage 2 porting from Muscle Motors I will be going back to the track on May the 12th I will post my results on the 13th

mmmm...I cant wait to try mine out, if thats the times you ran with older Iron heads....Im running a 500" motor, 14.5:1 comp, 7880 Hughes mech cam, with Indy S/R heads opened up to max wedge, and bowl ported too...flow 320 int, 250 exh at .700 lift...hehe 10's here i come(maybe 9's with good slicks)

A friend of mine just went to Indy SR heads and a different cam and his car is quicker, but he is still working out the tune-up.
His original setup was very well dialed in, and now he has to re-tune everything, so don't be dissapointed if the car dosen't pick up much untill you have a chance to re-tune the car.

Ok guys
495 cid and 452 heads
60ft1.38 1/8 mile 6.51@103.38 1/4 mile 10.36@124.90

495 cid and Indy SR heads
60ft 1.33 1/8 mile 6.35@105.89 1/4 mile 10.09@129.85

well I guess the money I spent was worth it !!!!!

Great numbers. I too think it was worth the trouble.
