I have a 1973 Barracuda w/ a 1970 440 engine in it. I am the 4th owner and was told the engine had been rebuiilt once. Can I rebuild it again? How many times should a engine be rebuilt before it is replaced with a new one? I was planning on using the Summit Racing 1966-1978 Chrysler 440 Forged kit w/ 10.34:1 compression with 88cc heads. Will this work well?

When you get the engine apart, you'll have to accurately measure the bore size and bearing sizes ( the pistons and bearing will be stamped with the over / under sizes ).
From there you can make your decision on how to procede. The 1970 blocks can be safely bored .060" oversize and the crank can be turned down .030" if required.
