I have a 65 valiant,360 alum heads, all the bolt ons,508 cam,4 spd,3.91s weighs 3100lbs with me in it,my friend has a 66 Mustang 347 stroker all the bolt ons,530 roller cam,auto,3500 stall 4,10s weighs 2850 with him in it.Hes run a best of 12.71 with sticky radials,My best was a 12.88 but with 3.23s.We went to moab Utah 2 weeks ago for a big car show they have every year so eventually we line up cruising down the main drag with about 650 cars in total attendance,we get it right off the line,I keft easy cause my car will totally hook if I get it to 10 mph with out wheelspin so He gets 2 feet on me then were exactly heads up thru 1st,I bang 2nd and get maybe 2 ft on him,by the top of 2nd Ive got him maybe 3.5 ft then I bang 3rd and put 2 full lengths on him!! and hit 4 th and another 1.5 lengths!!!!!at first i thought it was really gonna be very close but the 360 has really got some long legs on her.Since then Ive run at the track with slicks a 12.02....too fun for daily drivers........PRO......

Nice setup on your Valiant. And a 12.02 in a 3100lb car? WOW! Great kill!

SO you went with the 360 instead of the 273...well it was probably easier to run a low winding 260 than the rev happy 273...good kill Pro...

Cool wheels PRO.

I am looking to put a 360 magnum crate (380hp) with a kitted 727 in my 64 Valiant. What did you do for headers? Do you have any pictures of the engine compartment? Hoping to have a streetable car that runs in the low 12s when I am done.
