Question

Hello there 84 Z28! Just a question? Are you sure you are on the right board? This is a Mopar board. OH...well! I'll try to help. You didn't say if you wanted radials or bias-ply drag type tires. Let me know! Nobody will say this Mopar guy isn't friendly!

You have a 440 that does 140 mph???
OH, you mean on the highway..heh..
you need zr rated tires for extended speeds like that, and if you look up tires.com they have all the specs. I don't think you can get tires like that for 15x7' s tho, you may have to go to 16 inch or at least 8 inch widths. Try the site, and all the brands listed. Goodyear eagles, maybe? They won't look like musclecar tires, tho.

It's a friend's car. He wants to take it out and see what it will do before he restores it. The rust bucket has no tires on it right now though. He thinks it will do 130-140 MPH.

Thanks for the help.

LOL! I don't hate Mopars. My favorite cars are Mopars. The Challenger really is a rust bucket though. 50% of the metal on that car is rusted through, including the roof.
