Cool

Hi guys,

I don't know if any of you have seen this or not, but I was just reading it over on the Ram Truck Forum.

http://www.moparchat.com/forums/show...threadid=28397

This Rustang driver not only did a stupid thing, but all of his fellow Ferd Fans just berate him on the forum. I know a lot of us do stupid things, but at least we have a brotherhood that offers support and positive suggestions.

Apparently this is what Ford guys do to try and generate more power...

Craig

Prostreetchallenger, I don't think you have to tell "Mopar people" not to do that. We are smart enough to figure that out on our own !!

that is too funny but is also sad, this is probaly some 17- 19 year kid that has no father that is interested in what he is doing, (i myself have been there, i would proboly still be there if it wasnt from getting a job at a salvage yard and having a boss who was willing to teach me!!!) you can be assured that all the knowledge that this guy has is from the pages of Hot Rod Magazine.

Unhappy Poor Kid............ :(

It was hard to believe what I was reading. Obviously this kid lacks guidance. To make things work his fellow Ford Pilots made him feel worse. Even those who tried to help couldn't resist taking a few pokes at him.
Then again I have to wonder if that post was on the level or bogus to begin with. Odds are that kid really did dump 15 bottles of cleaner in his gas tank.
A real bone head thing to do but I have done my share of bone head things when I was young. I ended up on fire once; once I modified a 318 with no compression. What a performer that was. It had more blowby than exhaust and that didn't seem strange to me. I lacked guidance, so ignorance can make you do some dumb things.

Default this is great...

whats best is, there is almost a hundred replies to this message and not a single person has any advice to give to him except 'see if you can turn it by hand' and 'pull the spark plug and see if fluid leaks out'

at least on our message boards we have about 20 or so mechanical GENIUSES (anyone ever hear the name "PRO" before?)
i agree with whoever said "no wonder we always beat the fords"
