Thumbs down All hype in my opinion!

The only real innovation in spark plugs are the platinum center electrode plugs. They don't 'round off' like regular plugs so your spark energy is always optimum.
The 'split ground electrode' isn't a new innovation all. The FIRST spark plugs had multiple ground electrodes for the spark to jump to. But since the grounding electrode wasn't much more than a stiff wire arching and forming a spark gap multiple ones tended to break off in the cylinder so the design was abandoned.

Now adays the majority of aftermarket automotive products are more gimmicks than useful.

They suck! I have a set sitting in my garage you can have! I will probably toss them in the trash next time I clean.

Although alot of racers swear by the NGK V-groove, where the tips are actually grooved in the middle. I haven't tried them. I bought some autolite ar73 which have the electrode cut back, but I don't see a difference with them and cheapo autolite75's. (except a $1.50 difference each...doh!) The splifires cost even more, and with 8 plugs that stuff adds up!

Japanese spark plugs in your MoPar ???? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you notice that SplitFire came out with a matching set of plug wires for their bogus spark plugs? I guess they figure if people will buy those plugs they will buy anything~!

Red face No big deal.

I put a set in our van a couple years ago because Summit had them on sale. It didn't seem to make any difference.

About the only "improvement" and "increased performance" will be due to the lighter weight of your wallet...
If it sounds too good to be true, it's probably not true.

Dont laugh at those splitfire plug wires, I got a pair, course I only paid 20 bucks for them new at Pomona. They actually fit, as opposed to other "fits mopar" custom wire sets. Seems you always end up with one wire that is stretched tight to one of the plugs. Anyway, they are working fine. I dont dig their plugs though, I use NIP-pondenso U grooves.

As far as Full Race NGK I have had the best result, along with my friends cars. Any of those "TRICK" Plugs or Wires, DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY!!!!!

I have a set of those wires on my Camaro, they fit well and seem to be very good wires, I just bought them because they matched the color of my car (Blue) and were on sale, I have heard that an old racers trick to get a little more horsepower is to cut about half the electrode off the plug, anyone every tried this?

At the strip my 73 440 duster was running 13.41with regular champions,I switched to Splitfires,it ran 13.41 but I did notice it started a little quicker hot, thats all.I currently run Bosch Platinums in everything, they last 20k or more and there is no center electrode wear....PRO.....

Biggrin Worn out spark plugs

All the testimonials on how spitfires work is BS. You could put any NEW plug and get the same performance with the exception of champions. I’ll save those for my weed eater.

BTW Got any numbers as to why taylors won't work with MSD? Please give us facts we can tak to the bank

On 2 consecutive trips to the track, only change being sparkplugs. Weather conditions quite similar. Base line runs were using Autolite. Switched to Splitfires. Delta average -.06 seconds with Splitfires. I returned them & got my money back!

Question MSD Box

The only thing my MSD book said was no solid core wires. They generate too much "electrical noise" for the box to work properly.
