The six pac also had a different fly wheel..it was a forged piece.
usually you want to go with a large fluid dampner..at least that is what I am lead to believe..the reason that the six pacs were externally balanced was they used the same crank as the normal 440's BUT the six pac had bigger rods. But they didnt put a balanced crank with it!!!probably too much money to retool the dang thing.
anyway

I contacted Six packs to go once and what they charge is about $1,000 for the complete workup. I can't remember exactly what it was. They only have a Phone and fax number. I dont have them at the moment but will get them.
When I talked to him he suggested to me to get a new set of carbs too which is another $1,000.

I thought this was a bit much though.

I sent them all 3 of mine and cleaned them up like new, totally rebuilt them all, new diaphrams, and tricked the inboard by drilling the squirters and some other mods to prevent lagging when the outboards come in, new linkages and full picture instructions for $690.00 bucks....About $300.00 each for the outboards and $90.00 bucks for the inboard. If you've got or can get a copy of May 1999 Mopar Muscle check out the full page spread. It shows all they do to them and tells in detail what is done.
They only have a fax number, no phone number or no e-mail. the Fax # is 770-483-6078. My original throttle cable bolted right back on. The only change I had to make was to move the bracket holding my coil. Just made a longer one is all.
