She lives! I finally got my all new (inside) 383 fired up today! Finally, after wearing my brand new battery down to nothing because the fuel pump wouldn't send gas to the carb (a whole week of swearing and tinkering and the culprit turned out to be a stuck needle valve in the carb), we got her running on her own! Yeeha! Now let's see...she COULD use a new carb...repaint the scratches in the engine compartment...finish reupholstering the seats...rechrome, etc.

Cool deal, Dude, I'm happy for you. You have some cigars to pass around? It's a girl. My girl is getting ready to take her first breath after a top-end tear down and cleaning and transplant. Have fun!

1967 Dodge Charger with a 383 and TF 727 tranny. Edelbrock intake, Mopar Perf. cam 272 duration, Holley 4bbl (for now anyway), 2 1/2 inch exhaust. Nothing too radical but I think it will be just the way I want it. I still have a bit of fine tuning to do before I can get it on the road, but I can't wait to take it to the track one day soon just to see what it will do.
