I have the four swoosh aluminum wheels on my Durango, how do I polish them? I used some aluminum polish on them but they don't look any different? Chrome polish did not work. Do they have a clearcoat or something? If so, will regular car wax work?

Kevin,
Not sure but alot of alunimum wheels are clear coated. On my MT's, I've found that Eagle One aluminum wash works well when its time for a wash and once a quarter Mothers aluminum polish to really make 'em shine up. Afterwards, a quick coat of wax on them will help them stay good looking. Don't use the chrome polish on 'em, though..... Ron Wilson |

Thanks Ron, I thought to my self "Self, for sure the factory would not spend the $ to put Aluminum wheels on the SLT, they are probably steel and chrome, let me use my chrome polish.....Oh, crap, this is not working, it is looking dull.....better put some aluminum polish on there..." Then I realized they might be clear coated so thought I would ask.
