Question

Gasket set has 1 set of fiber (shiny black) gaskets, they have the horseshoe looking cutouts in the center and match the heads, but the cutouts leave these horseshoe openings open to nothing????? Also the set has 3(yes three) steel gaskets, 1 is blocked off where the egr opening is, the other 2 are open, the original gaskets were the steel ones, but here again, the horseshoes open is it supposed to be this way?????

Yes, I have run across those gastkets before. I used them. Nothing to comment about. I mostly end up with Fel-Pro's on the engine. If I do an entire engine, the MoPar kit gets the nod. Never a problem.
