I was just curious how many of you drive the pride every day. My current everyday ride is a 94 New Yorker. Not too exciting but, it's the right emblem.

I see and talk to people that say "I'm really into Mopars" and then get into a brand new Chevy or Ford. I can understand economics and having to go brand x. But, if you can talk the talk, walk the walk!

fasteddie. I drive mine everyday. I only own Mopars, and would never own another GM clunker again. The only one I had I spun a bearing in.

Cool

My rides are in my profile
The neon I drive everyday except right now it needs a computer wires shorted out and i think fried the computer timing circuit. So we are driving the wifes Grand Am. Yuck. I am changing her mind on it though. Almost have her talked into a Intrepid or Status. Just need the extra cash and all mine is going into the 68 cuda right now. The ram and the Duster are on hold also right now due to the cuda extensive reworking.
I miss my neon. I miss the cuda more though.
All will change soon drove the cuda a little last weekend still some more to work on though.

I have never owned anything that wasn't a Dodge or Plymouth, and I've never wished it was different. I like my Mopars, and can't imagine why anyone would want anything else. I don't understand people who say they love Mopars but own another brand for any reason. To me, there's no excuse for that. Either an old car or new, you can find what you want in a Mopar, or build one to suit your needs. The wife says she wants another brand of car? Tell her to get a job and pay for it. You're only young once, at the very least you can have a car YOU like.

My first car was a 1992 Plymouth Acclaim, daily driver, my father bought it new and put 171,000 miles on it, I put an extra 26,000 miles on before selling it and it is presently at 220,000 and still running...I may just buy it back too.

My present car is a 1995 Dodge Intrepid ES, bought it at 64,000 miles, it is presently at 107,000 miles, and my daily driver. Haven't had any problems with her that I haven't caused in the first place (grin).

Only cars I own are Mopar's. When it's real nice out I like to ride my Harley.
To top it off, I work at a Mopar dealership

I drive either a 340 4spd 72 roadrunner or a 69 Charger RT every day. Just to ensure poor gas mileage, both have six packs. I commute 25 minutes each way, and have found that the only way it's bearable is to drive a car I enjoy. In fact, with the exception of a 79 trailduster, the 72 is the newest car I own. I've driven that Charger (my first car) across the country several times, and those are my fondest memories in a car. There's something very therapeutic about listening to a 440 rumble across 3400 miles of wide open country! Love Mopar!

I've driven nothing but Mopars since 1955. That's when my first and only Chevrolet quit for the last time. Closest I've come to a non-Mopar in that time was a '79 Horizon with a VW engine. Never owned a Mitsubishi with Dodge nameplates either!

I love Mopar. As for the company that runs mopar...well, we all have our problems (I at least try to fix my problems, whether big or small). I used to own nothing but Mopar. I started with a 77 Cordoba 13 years ago, still have it. I owned a 88 Dodge Lancer Shelby (only 900 made), and now added a 73 Cuda 440. Those are my hobby cars, my spirit of driving, my favorite rides. I tried a brand new 94 Voyager and had nothing but problems. My ex-wife insisted we try a Ford Sable. Even though its not a Mopar, it was a good diving car. I now have a Ford Explorer 2000 with all the trimmings. I gave Chrysler a crack at the sale but wanted 200 bucks more a month in just interest for an equivalent model. Hey, I'm not prejudise. If another company makes a quality car that I like, I don't discriminate on brand names. But rest assured, my heart does belongs Mopar-the legend, not the company.

Daily driver is a 90 fifth ave, comfy and good mileage(makes up for the v-10)
Cruisers stay safe in the garage.

I'm even a Chrysler master technician. Get to work on every type of mopar- I love it!

Nothing but Mopar. Always had it, always will. The lineup between my girlfriend and me is: 1983 Scamp GT, in the paint shop as we speak,it is in immaculant shape, we plan on showing it, need to find the GT stripes if anyone could help. 1984 Rampage, just got this from OR, going to put a 2.5 in it and use it as a truck. 1983 D-150, daily work dog. 1986 Shelby Charger, PHX car, a blast to drive. 1987 Charger, PHX car, brake and suspension mods, another daily driver. 1987 Turbo LeBaron, daily driver/ winter ride. 1988 Caravan, daily driver. 1974 D-100, my current project, going to be 360, 4 speed, 3:55 gear. I am also now looking for a Dart, Duster, Demon or anything cool to put my 340 in. So many Mopars, so little time. On another note, my brother recently purchased a F150 over a four door Dakota because the Ford dealer said, and I quote "practically gave it to him" compared to the Dodge. He now knows why. He regrets it.

I am from N MN here. This is Big GM country. Seems that once you go N of the border it's Mopar country. I go to College in ND and if it isn't a Caviler or a Grand Am it isn't Sh*&. Just an observation.

open up, dont be so closed minded. my dad and brother work at ford, so i grew up with only fords. they refuse to buy anything else, and it drives me nuts. dad is building a 67 fairlane, and i am gonna make sure to make him think twice about being so ine-sided when it comes to cars when i slam him with a 440 duster.
i drive fords for daily drivers for two reasons. one, i needed a relatively reliable car for work, one with fule injection, so i wanted a car from the 80's. dodge offered nothing but front wheel drive crap, so i got a ford. great car. i also wanted an 80's performance car, but again, dodge offered nothing but front wheel drive crap, so i got an 86 gt convertible.
the other reason: who cares if you tear up a ford? there's so many others out there, whats it matter if you tear up one more ford?
cars are more fun when you favor one brand, but dabble in others. of course, i will still never buy a gm product!

Ill fess up. I drive a 99 chevy S-10 everyday 41 miles round trip to work, but I own a '65 Barracuda that I wrench on and my wife drives a 96 Breeze. The reason I bought the chevy is it was about 3 thousand bucks cheaper than an equipped Dakota, my first choice. I have no regrets. My license plate frame says "I bought this Chevy/ to build my MOPAR!"

I drive my '67 GTX everyday to work and all around town just during the summer. Fun to drive it when you are the only one in town with one to drive around. Especially in a town of 250,000.

I drive my LeBaron everyday, except when it is really nice and then justI have to pull the Yamaha out of the garage and go for a good ride. But the problem with that is I tend to get myself in trouble with it. The power to weight ratio is addicting. But if the gas prices don't drop I will be parking the m-body. cruzerjd

That's how it is in my family: dad drives a 78 Challenger (ok, i know it's not REALLY a mopar) and a 99 Ram1500 Sport 318 4x4, mom's got a 2000 300M and my daily driver is a 76 Cordoba with a tweaked 400. Gas milege is something I try not to think about-- especially on my 60 mile round trip commute to work-- I don't want to know! And my baby is a 60 DeSoto with Indy headed 383.

I wish DC wiuld take a little hint off this post. Build us a CAR. Not an SUV, not a minivan but a 4 speed v8 rear wheel drive CAR. I love my New Yorker and my Ramcharger, but if they offered a real car I'd buy it!
