Default How to make it work and what size amp?

I taking my bazookas out because they just don't kicker hard enough for me. I bought 2 of those blue 12" Kenwood subs (i don't know the model #) They are 4ohms, 150RMS/500peak each(not that great but an improvement over the bazookas. I know another that has two more. I was thinking of putting in 4 of them, I will need a real complicated box to make it work with the right air space and to go around the console thing that filps up and down. I was also just leaning toward 3 of them. for each situation, what amp should I get. For the set up with 3 12" I was thinking that a mono block could handle 1.3ohms? What do you think? thanks!

P.S. will 3 of them be as loud as my ol' 2 10" bullets with an alpine mono block that I sold?

Default quality not quantity

I compete in stereo competitions + if you want pound you only need to get the right box built my friend runs 3 12" kaptions behind the seat of his 1987 dodge pickup it hits 140 db easy but the key is the box get a really good box built + you could easily hit high numbers with 2 subs but only with the right box as for an amp we hit 131 with a 2 by 75 watt sony bridged with 2 kaptions in my dakota + its just a winter beater,we also have a friend with a cavalier brand x car + with 1 12" clarion sub + a cheap sony explode amp it hit 141 db on a competition mike but the box was the perfect size for the car + sub so always include your cars frequency + size in the equation if the installer doesn't then he's not doing it right.
