Default Weight vs crossover!

Jand J,
It should be interesting, you lost weight and probably some back-pressure, but you also lost the cross-over, which all the exhaust guru's tout as being important in torque production!!
Bet its a little louder in the car!! Over-all, I think you will be happy with the switch! When are ya gonna pop for some wilwood disc brakes??!!

I went from my Dynomax bullets to the Dynomax 6" welded race Magnum mufflers (just slightly larger than the bullets) and the car ran the same.
I installed a 3" TTI full exhaust system with the 3" Dynomax super turbo mufflers (large case size) and the car still ran the same.
The bad thing with my 3.5" system was the bends were not smooth (done at a local muffler shop) like the bends of the TTI exhaust system which are nice and smooth
But for weight loss the bullets are the lightest, and the TTI full system is pretty heavy, I think the UPS shipping tag said #90+ pounds?

I forgot: The good thing was it took a little bottom end away so I could launch harder with out tire spin! I got back down to low 1.52 short times.
