440-292/509 RPM Range

440 getting the 509 in the next couple of days anyone know the RPM range this cam will pull too?Yes we will put the correct springs in as well.

It's really all done by 6400, and I've found the best shift point at 6000 with a single plain intake.
On the bottle, Ive pushed it to 7200 before it nosed over!!!!

My friend was running the 440/292*/509"/"906"/M1-SP/750 CFM combination shifting at about 6,000 RPM.

I run a 440 509/292*, 516 heads, M1 single plane, 850 holley. Shift at 6000 come through the lights at 6200-6400, it noses over at anything past 6300

I run almost the same combo as most of the other guys and it runs out of steam at about 6000-6200, but max torque is way lower than that, around 3400-3600 and starts to drop off at about 5500-5800. My point is shift early go quicker
