Type of connections for subwoofer amp to factory stereo??
I've got a 2001 QC. I also already have two 8" subs and a 100 watt amp (that I took out of the GMC I traded in).
How do I connect the amp to the factory stereo (AM/FM CD Cassette with EQ)? To one of the rear speaker outputs? Can I purchase some type of inline device that I can mount on my dash that will allow me to turn the subs "up and down" at will?? What does it connect to? Thanks for any help! Drag!

What you need is called a "line convertor".Connected to your rear speaker output from your stereo it will convert the speaker signal to the RCA level your amp needs.
Some amps do have this built in,it is commonly called "hi level input".
