Question

hey got 6pack today has carb #4394 [FRONT] 4792 CENTER 4393 rear. Does this mean alot or is it all in the jetting. also checked # on heads of 73 440 they are 3462346 . are these heads worth porting or am i better off getting different ones.also on rockers ,they have t37+ and t38+ ,not in any order or all of 1 number on intake or exhaust. what are they for ,different adjustments? Im just a reformed chevy man going for the mopar kick . thanks for the response earlier. walt

Congrads. I two was a sinner until the day of reckoning awoke me ! I now say "welcome home brother and sin (chevy) no more!"
But for real , I'm a small block guy. I believe the 346's are a good head to do. Don't fret, there are enuff Big Block gguys here to help. I'm learning to. I have a big Block in my future as well. Enjoy. Your home.
(And don't mind me being silly.)

The 346 are a good head for porting. They may or may not have hardened seats though being a 73. I have a set of 346 heads ported on my 383 right now.

On the carbs I am not a six pack guru.
