Thumbs up Teach you a lesson.. (BOY)

well I was on my way to the local hang out on a friday night in my 69 dart (6cylinder). better yet I will tell you I had 2 of these darts and they were both the same looking cars except 1 was a slant 6 and the other was a 340, but they were the same colour and same wheels etc.etc.
Anyways there was this guy in school that had a 69 firebird with a pontiac 350 in it (big deal),so he was bugging me to race him all the time and I told him that if his car couldn,t beat a slant 6 then he should sell it and buy beer... well the day came he met me down at the local hang out , him and his crownies, so I pulled in with my 6 banger and he came over and said well come on chicken Iwill race you now.....I said ok asshole you wont leave me alone tell you get to race me so lets go. Just give me 10 minites to run back to the house to drop some stuff of and I will meet you down at the park!!!. he said ok see ya there .
So I drive to the house throw the plates on the 340 car, my dad comes out and says what the hell are you doing? I said I have had enough with Tim and his firebird going to teach him a lesson..
My dad said I was wondering when you were going to do this, that boy needs a lesson given to him... So off I went .. down to the park , he was there . so we raced... I wiped his ass big time, It was so funny . I drove back to the house , put the plates back on the 6 banger and back to the local hang out I went. And there he was!!!! I pulled in and he ran over to the car and demanded to see the nitrious bottle ..I just laugh and said there is no bottle. Ok he said pop the hood.. I said ok ... popped the hood .. and you should have seen the look on his face when he saw the 6 banger sitting there.. His friends (Crownies) just laughed and said holy shit Tim you just got beeten by a 6. then the stories started. Tim was trying to tell me his clutch was slipping, and he was getting some cross firering on his plug wires and bla bla bla. I just looked at him and said.. don,t under estimate the power of a MOPAR.. To this day he leaves me alone and it been 16years now. I guess he knows better than to mess with us mopar guys thats My storie hope you all liked it Barry

That's the way to do it!

There's a guy locally who has some kind of Phord Escort with a 1.9 liter engine, supposed to be fast and all that. One day a couple months ago he says he'll race my '79 Aspen R/T. My R/T was running 15.7 at the time with a near stock 360, lockup 727, and 2.71 Sure-Grip gears. Well, we went out on the road and raced. He lost. I watched him in the rear view mirror, his front end was hopping up and down pretty good with each gear shift. Then we turned around and he led the next race. I had to let off the gas 3 times while running 0-75 mph so I didn't run him over.

(This is racing on one lane of a 2 lane road. One car leads and one follows. On GO, the rear car has to try to keep up with the lead car.)

Once we got back to the guys' house we were at, he starts saying how his clutch was slipping, and I was going too fast (10 mph) at the start of the race, and he was already wound out in first gear and so on....

Now that my Aspen R/T has 3.90 gears and runs 15.2's, he doesn't even come around much anymore!

Default 6 vs. 8?

The guy couldn't tell the difference between a WOT 6 and an WOT V8?!? What a moron!
